Background settings

Background can be determined for all html-pages, as well as for its individual elements: text, tables, table cells, and so on.

The background color with CSS style attribute defines the background-color:

background-color: <color>

The color can be set using the RGB-code or name. The value of transparent specifies a transparent background.

By default the background elements from html-pages missing; background html-pages is determined by the browser.

When using the style attribute background-image in the background, you can ask a graphic (background) image:

background-image: url("<image address>")

The value of none removes the graphic background.

You can set the background color and background image simultaneously with the "Picture" is superimposed over the normal background. If the background image contains transparent areas, then they will shine through the background color.
